Senior Management Team

When Brett Serjeantson and Chris Morrison met as fellow students in a public relations program, they soon found themselves knee-deep in newspaper clippings while completing a media monitoring assignment.

Years later, this experience inspired the two budding entrepreneurs to collaborate on the creation of an easy-to-use technology-based system for gathering and analyzing media intelligence. In 2003, MediaMiser was born, and later that year, Martin Lyster was brought on board.

David Nadeau joined MediaMiser as Chief Technology Officer in 2011 after the acquisition of InfoGlutton Solutions, which he founded in 2009.

Brett Serjeantson - Owner, Chief Executive Officer

The technological visionary behind MediaMiser’s patented media monitoring and analysis solution, Brett leads a talented product development team that continually comes up with innovations to the firm’s web-based media analysis platform and information system. Brett is valued both for his holistic view of the firm’s overall mission and vision as well as for how he employs his instincts and skills to keep all employees focused on the key goals of innovation and client satisfaction.

Chris Morrison - Owner, President, and Vice-President of Client Services

Chris’s public relations agency experience and his daily contact with customers are key to helping MediaMiser provide products and services that offer hands-on solutions for ever-evolving client needs. His managerial insights are instrumental in the company’s success as are the roles he plays in overseeing a dedicated client services team, developing and delivering effective client training programs, and running the company’s B.C. office.

Martin Lyster - Owner and Chief Operations Officer

Martin not only is in charge of MediaMiser’s day-to-day operations but also uses his financial acumen to manage the firm’s finances. His professional bank of knowledge and expertise, sought after both at the management table as well as in the office, enable him to make significant contributions to every aspect of the company’s operations, from identifying new business opportunities to supervising the growing and successful sales team.

David Nadeau - Chief Technology Officer

David Nadeau joined MediaMiser as Chief Technology Officer in 2011 after the acquisition of InfoGlutton Solutions, which he founded in 2009. He has worked for the National Research Council of Canada, OpenPlaces Inc. and Copernic Technologies Inc.
