Synopsis
Using MediaMiser software, we’ve tracked the Twitter popularity of items on the Toys"R"Us® Fab 15 holiday gift guide since mid-November.
We’ve also tracked the popularity of items on Future Shop’s Must-Haves holiday gift guide since late November.
Some of our findings thus far:
- Difference of opinion: The Skylanders video game is the most popular toy on Toys”R”Us’s Fab 15 list overall, followed by the Leapfrog LeapPad Explorer. In Canada, the LeapPad takes the cake and is followed by the Skylanders video game
- Games and entertainment where it’s at: The PlayStation 3 is far and away the most popular tech gadget on Future Shop’s Must-Haves list in both Canadian and overall Tweets, followed by the Nintendo 3DS and Apple TV.
