Agility PR Solutions ready for GDPR

UPDATE: 20th January 2021

Within the UK, the UK GDPR replaced the existing EU GDPR at 11pm on 31st December 2020. All of the existing principles, obligations and rights remain in place. The existing EU GDPR will continue to apply, unchanged, in the countries of the EEA.

Agility remains fully compliant with EU and UK GDPR and all other necessary regulations. Although the EU GDPR itself no longer applies to UK residents’ personal data, UK organisations must still comply with its requirements after this point, as must all other worldwide organisations handling the data of EU residents.

Agility PR Solutions has the expertise and strategy in place to continue to comply with GDPR as and when required. Updates will appear here.

As you undoubtedly have heard, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is taking effect on May 25, 2018. The GDPR provides greater protection of EU-originating personal data by imposing additional obligations on entities involved in processing such personal data. Under GDPR, Agility PR Solutions and our end-users/clients are jointly responsible for compliance. We welcome the opportunity to work with you in adhering to this new legislation, improving data protection and security for EU personal data.

We have been conducting a company-wide review of our data protection practices and policies. To reflect our compliance with the GDPR, we have updated the Terms and Conditions that govern the use of, and access to, Agility PR Solutions’ products and services to include a Data Processing Agreement Addendum. These changes become effective on May 25, 2018.

You can review the updated Terms and Conditions and Addendum at www.agilitypr.com/agility/terms-of-use/. All Agility clients will receive a copy of the updated Terms and Conditions and by continuing to use Agility’s products and services after May 25, 2018 agree to the updated Terms and Conditions.
